Private Equity Advisory
Overview
Managing risk and creating value are key tenants of a successful Private Equity fund. Many organizations can provide checklists of best practices or gap assessments that align to a framework. However, Enduir’s involvement in hundreds of transactions and experience servicing some of the world’s largest Private Equity buyers have given us a unique ability to provide our Private Equity clients with tailored services to meet their primary concerns at deal speed and across their entire portfolio.
Private Equity Portfolio Resilience (PEPR) Program
Evaluating cyber resiliency across a wide variety of industries, company sizes, and geographic regions can be difficult (especially with the transaction cycle continuously churning). Our PEPR Program takes the knowledge we gain responding to incidents to help you manage your Portfolio’s cyber risk profile in a structured framework that evolves as your investment thesis and hold period progresses.
In recent years, we've found more and more incidents are impacting companies that have already "checked all the boxes", with the necessary technologies and best practices in place, however threat actors continue to adapt and find new ways to take advantage of misconfigurations and overlooked dependencies. Enduir's PEPR program goes beyond any check-the-box assessment. We work with your PortCo’s leadership to dig below the surface, review specific configurations, evaluate their architecture, and provide meaningful recommendations that will immediately improve their ability to prevent and respond to major cyber-attacks.
Each PE firm has a different management style. As such, we work with Operating Partners to either define a baseline of reviews that each PortCo must go through or tailor a list of services that each PortCo can select from that are designed to help achieve their cyber needs including configuration reviews, threat hunts, roadmaps, and implementations.
Technology M&A Due Diligence
Whether evaluating a product, investing in a cyber company, or simply wanting to get a third-party review of a Target’s cybersecurity posture, our due diligence offerings can help you evaluate the cyber risk associated with a Target to help you adjust an investment thesis, influence the bid price, or help you attain representation and warranties insurance for the transaction.
Threat Hunting
Threat hunting is a critical aspect of any cyber organization that dramatically increases an organization’s chance of identifying malicious activity before it evolves into a full-blown attack. However, most offerings are rigid in their approach and require either purchasing additional tools, highly mature cyber organizations, a long installation and dwell time to collect data, or unclear variable pricing to complete.
Our methodology is different. By leveraging many of the same toolsets we’ve built for rapid, large-scale forensics, and access to many of the top-tier endpoint threat hunting tools, we can offer our Clients a tiered threat hunting offering that meets their desired level of thoroughness and time. Furthermore, our past experiences in running these engagements have allowed us to develop fixed fee pricing that is easy
